What's with the domain name?

Outbloom is "to exceed in bloom", in other words outdo everything else around. We thought this fitted in with our ethos. We wanted to offer cards that stood out, provoking a reaction from the recipient: hopefully a good one! Whether that be pop up cards, or plantable cards, or just cards that offer a wow factor. No boring cards here! We also love cards that are inspired by nature. We were going to buy a .com address, but wanted something that was more meaningful, so therefore we concluded with the name outBloom.cards, and that suits us just fine!

How does outBloom Cards personalise my greeting card?

We can apply personalisation to your Greeting Card. This not only saves you time, but also  money, as we can send the card directly to your recipient after writing the message.

We now use a stencil to help write your message directly onto the inside of the card, or label, using a pen. The writing style is similar to Snell Roundhand. This process ensures that the writing is consistently neat, preventing errors, otherwise any mistake would require a complete redraw of the entire card.

Do you offer personalised messages on the front of the card?

We prefer not to, as it detracts away from the art itself. But It all depends on the type of card and the space available. Feel free to contact us if you do have a specific request and we'll try to accommodate.

How long does it take to receive my order?

We offer Royal Mail first class (1 - 3 Days) and second class (2 - 4 Days) delivery in the UK. Shipping times may vary depending on your location.

Can I send multiple cards to multiple addresses?

Currently at checkout we only allow one delivery address to be entered. If you wish to send to multiple addresses, please create multiple orders. We are looking to change our checkout process in the future, to allow multiple addresses, but we'll keep you informed!

Do you deliver outside of the United Kingdom?

Currently at checkout we restrict delivery to the UK. The only reason being the excessive costs we'd have to pass onto the customer. But we'll keep our options open, and let you know if this policy changes.

Some products are listed as backordered, what does this mean?

If we've ran out of stock for a particular product, but we've reordered new stock, and it's yet to be delivered to us, then we'll list the item as backordered. You can still purchase this item, but there may be a delay in receiving your order.

Why do your products not include VAT?

We're a startup company, and therefore currently below the threshold required to pay VAT. More details here.
